ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Well, I just painted my entire interior black and blue. I used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint. So far it seems to have worked great. Just barely painted it so I dont know how long its gonna last. It does however seem that it does not adhere to plastic very well so I suggest getting krylon fusion or some type of paint made for plastic for those pieces.

              I love Duplicolor paints.

Make sure you give all the panels a very light scuff, and then spray them with adhesion promoter. Give it a coat or primer and then lay your colour.

That should give you a solid base to work with that won't crack and peel for some time.

              Good luck.

                yup duplicolor

i used it and it looks good i guess except the rug came out like crap i used a cleaner from oreilys called blue coral 2 times with it to get the grease and gunk out and then use a damp not soaking detailing cloth or shirt it doesnt matter and then let it air dry you should be fine after that just dont spray to close and take your time.! here are pics of mine.

                i hope this helps you.

Clean the hell out of it. Then let it sit in a trash can full of RIT dye for a couple of days. Then take it out and rinse it until it runs clear. LEt it dry and you should be good to go.

ya I could dye it. I was thinking more along the lines of replacing the carpet with black carpet. I'm assuming there is a backing to this carpet, a wodden surface under the carpet or something solid?

There's padding on the back of it but that's about it. The solid part you speak of is the car itself lol. You can find carpet online.

You'll have to trim it in certain spots. Just search around and you might find a cheaper price somewhere.
