sand, prime, sand, prime, sand, prime, till you have it perfect, then prime paint and clear.
It took me a few tries with the paint. Be patient, and if it doesn't work or you screw it up, sand it all off and try again. Wetsanding will help alot. Patience patience patience is everything.
I did it, rattle canned dupli color - color match, then clear. Its been holding 3 winters now, and I probably only spent $100-200 on the repair.
