ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Bondo is a temporary fix. It will come back and it will be MUCH worse. The rust will typically just form right along the edge of where the bondo was placed. When I bought my Accord, the previous owner had both sides fixed with Bondo at a bodyshop, and within 6 months of owning it, it was back and awful. I've NEVER seen anyone use Bondo on the quarters and not had it come back within a year.
You'll never be able to properly blend the quarters with a DIY job either, unless you're a pro at knowing how to blend paint.
So yeah, it's a very very temporary fix. I know it sucks being 17 and having rust (I was there) but just save up for awhile (figure bank a few years of tax returns) and have it fixed properly, and then you'll have perfect quarters.

I'll make this short, sweet and to the point. Bondo is quite simply, a band-aid. While it works for now, unfortunately breakdown of the metal will occur again, the rust will come back, and it will be even worse. My only advice to you is to try and do it as best you can, the first time If you're going to go the filler route, look into a sealer called Por15. http://www.por15.com/whatispor15.asp Also, See my rust thread here: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=149541
It pretty much explains why bondo is FTL.
life is good.

exactly
it just somewhat slows it down here is one that i had a lot of trouble with
here it is with bondo
not bad but the minute i hit the middle after a couple of months it comes right off
so i went with a permanent fix cut and weld but i finished it off with fiberglass that stuff is expensive but all and all 650 is what i wasted here is a current picture.
