Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    3rd light as foglight!

    My 3rd brake light don't work. checked the bulb, wiring and housing is they're fine. I don't really care if it works or not. i got the spoiler with the leds.

    my plan is not perfect it needs some corrections! be gentle

    My "experiment" is if i can used the 3rd light as a foglight.

    i was thinking getting an led strip and somehow wire it to the brake lamps.
    or
    get the led strip, buy a switch and wire it to brake lights and use the switch ON/OFF if i want the on or off like edm.

    my questions are:
    how do edm foglight works?
    are they wired to the brake lights?
    are they wired to something else?
    do they light up as the brakes are pressed?

    some input and/or advised is welcomed!

      sorry man! i never thought any of you had done it before. Thats why i didnt searched.

      its cool im going to go with your desing but with an led bulbs from autozone.
      and with a switch ON/OFF for heavy snow, fog, or rain. not to be on every single night.

          I was thinking it when i saw that thread on making it a running light. Then i thought people would think you were braking all the time because thats only when its designed to come on.

            lol i like this idea. better than having a big huge hole cut in your rear bumper just begin for the stoupid female behind u to ram your nice bumper and jack up your 100$ lil red light. leaving u with a big hole.

            i already did the brake light delete so i would be doing this but procede with your project.

              I would think this would be annoying as hell to everyone around, as well as probably illegal.

              The 3rd brake light is a federally required piece, and is supposed to be the last line of defense against someone slamming into the back of you.

              Integrate it into your inner tail light or something...don't put it where it's going to piss off everyone else on the road.
