ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Non Power Window Maroon Door Panels

Hi Ya Guys and girls. I have a question.

I have an 90 EX Coupe and I would like to convert my Power windows into manual crank windows. ( yes, I know, "why would you do such a thing?")

Simple: Maintance. But heres my problem.

I cannot seem to find a set of maroon door panels that have crank windows, all of them seem to have power windows.

The ones I have seen with crank windows are blue and grey. No good. So did Honda ever make this color, or am I chasing a pink elephant?

and no, Painting a set of Blue and grey panels is not an option either. I want something that looks stock, not trashy.

Holy 2nd grade grammar and spelling in this thread, Batman!

Anyway, I can't ever remember seeing a DX with a maroon interior, to be honest.

Since power locks are RARELY a problem, I assume you want this for the windows, correct? Why not keep your current panels, and just add a hole for a crank? Would there be clearance? I can't remember how different the DX panels are. Then just install a manual regulator.

Good luck with that one. Not trying to be pessimistic but finding a DX (which can sometimes be a chore by itself) coupe (another chore) that has maroon interior could be a loooooong search.

Thats possible but it would look like complete shit. The DX doesn't have that entire control panel on the door (with the window buttons, mirror button, etc), I suppose he would have to remove that then place a crank there. But like I said, the job wouldn't look really good IMO. Plus he still has to find a DX coupe and get the crank and other shit for the window. Anything is possible with enough determination but I don't see that happening without it looking crazy.

The dx panels are different. i know for se panels there is no clearance for the window crank to spin.
