ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

anyone else having problems with DDM Tuning?

My ballast has igniting issues and a bulb finally blew, so i try DDM Tuning's lifetime warranty. they act like they care, and i still don't have confirmation for my lifetime warranty hid kit. it's been about a month now. i submitted a dispute ticket, and even chatted with a representative over the phone and online. still i have no RMA number. anyone know WTF is going on?

    a can of worms...

Well, I do have DDM bulbs and ballasts and have had no problems with them, so I have not had to deal with their customer service. All I could think to do is just keep calling and bugging them until they get you fixed. If they don't tell them You will be notifying the BBB or something.

Lifetime warranty on a $60 kit... think about it... They're selling crap kits. They're not going to bend over backwards to honor that warranty. They're going to give you the runaround until you decide it's not worth the hassle, and just buy a whole new kit.
That's like trying to get a company to honor a warranty on a $60 header. Not gonna happen.

Plus, you're looking for a replacement for a blown bulb? Can you prove that it was a faulty ballast? Otherwise, bulbs are wear items... they wouldn't be covered normally anyway.

Also, the BBB can't really do much. They have limited power in some areas, and NO power in most areas. They're like the real-life version of Ebay's feedback rating... but for $60 HID kits, who checks the seller's BBB standing?

Well the bulbs are covered under the warranty as a one time replacement. I know other people who have had no problems getting DDM to honor their warranty, I mentioned the BBB because sometimes it will get a business to take you a little more serious. Either way it really isn't worth the hassle now that ddm kits are 30 dollars.

Deev is right; The customer gets what they pay for. Sad but true. And the BBB will most likely do very little.
