ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Plus I just got done rebuilding my dash , and I like the black dash a whole lot more than the grey one I just need to track down some grey seatbelts now too. So i was thinking bout some Corbeaus like these , or even an older model that has a similar sytle.

I think that these would look mighty sick in the front , and if I source a grey cloth rear it should be perfect. Lemmie know waht you guys think

Interior swaps are such a time consuming pain in the ass,but man are they ever worth it in the end.

This is why I try not to buy vehicles with maroon interiors anymore.

Question though....why didn't you get the seatbelts and other grey bits like the carpet?

So as far as the headliner goes, i was thinking of picking a used one up also, but then i came across this post in one of the headliner threads and I think this might look pretty sick but in a different fabric or somethething.

Heres a pick of the fabric i was thinkin bout slappin all over the headliner and door panels , tell me what you guys think about this ? is it a little to trendy , and should i just rewrap everything in a stock looking grey fabric like mircofiber or like faux suede or something. thanks for posting up
talk about dr. seuse and a headache, imo, if you can pull it off, to each man his own.

Looks good bro! As for the headliner,
please don't put anything funky on there. Its
starting to look to clean to put something that pops
out at you on the top. IMO.

well i did that to my sedan she had a tan interior and i did a 93 ex grey int. i got the whole thing for 175 includding seats. the transformation was great i only need to drop my headliner and install the sun roof flap.

good luck with the transformation. and for the trunk id just take out all the beauty boards. my trunk is gutted and looks good. ill post pics of the int. later... good job though........

The reason that i didnt pull the belts the old carpet was because the CB that i pulled it from was a 91 with the auto belts and the carpet had big cutouts in the floor from where the autobelts used to be

So im kinda bringing this thread back from the dead lol. A little update on the retrofit, I sourced some new seat belts, seat garnish , and B-pillar covers the other day for 50 bucks at the local yard

I know this is taking me forever but having a teething 1 year old girl sure does limit the amount of wrench time that i can put in lol Ill take some more detailed pics and link a DIY that im going to make for the complete removal of all the seat belts for 92-93 model CBs keep checkin in for more to come hehe.

                            Peace,
