A tow hook on a car that's not going to see a track is stupid, IMO.

Most racing organizations require a tow hook. If you're going to race on a track, you need one.

Kind of like a flushmount spoiler? Or a Gsquare grill? Or one piece headlights? Or doing a prelude cluster swap? Or an interior swap. I can go on all day. A lot of modifications are purely for looks. Why get your car repainted if it's faded/peeling/rusty? A paint job won't help performance.

I suppose there is a fine line between "rice" and "customizing". Its different for each. Flushmount spoilers and cluster swaps and what not are more for enhancing the appearance IMO. But when you ad on something that is specifically designed to aid performance and has a specific reason for being there (spoilers, diffusers, wind splitters etc) and yo shit don't need it, then ur stepping into the realm of rice to me. But those that do that can make the arguement that they just like the look so I suppose u can't really pass judgement. But like u said, peeps are gonna do what they want.

Shit I need one, the ones that come on the car from were cut off by the previous owner. don't ask cuz IDK why anyone would do that.


But its true most people that get the don't need them, but I have seen a lot of cars with them but they look like show cars.
