ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The expense of putting one in is what has kept me from having one. I wanted to get rid of the moonroof in my CL and have one installed but it's so damn expensive.

EDIT: Actually I just found one that's 35"x35" and they want $375.00 for it. I guess they've went down from the last time I priced them.

I have done suicides but not on a honda. I believe If your going to tackle this for the 1st time. I would get something to practice with. Buy a set of rear doors and go to the JY and find a set of GM hinges for a heavy door like a camaro. You will definatly need some steel at least an 1/8" to weld in for a brace. Go with a Tig welder much stronger on the sheetmetal side. Suicides have a reputation of sagging after awhile. If your going to drive it alot. I wouldnt do it. Lambo doors have to be readjusted all the time.

Thanks for the tip... much appreciated. I have some cb7 parts cars out in the field... I may pull one up and practice on one of those a bit.

Do you think they would still sag if they were properly braced? It's really not that heavy of a door.

One pin compared to two and your also putting the heavy end of the door on the swing. If you use these doors allot that one pin is going to wear.

He knew it was a guy, that's why he complimented his ass. There was no sarcasm there.

that car is nice. suicide doors are nice, but they can be a pain in the ass after a while. over time they will start to sag and you have to adjust them every once in a while.

You can not hurt me, I have my helmet on

Would buying quality parts and doing shit the right way the first time have the same results?

Once my CB is no longer my DD, I'd love to do shit like this. lol

Very rarely. I've only used the backseat once this week. And that was to put my backpack in the back because I had someone in my pass seat.
