Suicide the rear doors of a sedan?

I've always wanted to see a similar setup after a frontal or side impact collision.....I doubt the occupants have much chance of survival.

Whatever .. its a 17 year old Honda ... your chances are slim at best anyways.

I'm not sure how the Lambo kits for the cb's are, but, I've seen kits for Civics that bolt into the stock holes for the stock hinges. Have you guys ever seen the Lambo hinges? they look pretty beefy to me, and it retains all the stock hardware for the latch mechanism

If you're going to get lambo doors I would suggest buying from vertical doors or somewhere similar. Cheaper kits are just that, cheap. A friend of mine was riding with someone that pulled up to my work one day and he had lambo doors on his montero sport lol. Well when they got out the door almost fell off and sounded like fingernails on a chalkboard. It's like a grand though. They do look like they're made well though if you get the right kit. I can't see the front doors being any weaker. Putting suicide doors on the back seems like one hinge instead of two would be weaker though. I'd like to make all four suicide lol.

yeah i culdnt find nothing a suiside doors for a cb7. the only thing i found was that wagon. but i think it wuld look straight as long as you dnt add to much stuff like huge body kits lol

my 2c, well i think if u just put suicides in the rear would be fine and wont look too ricey but lambo and suicides just looks too much like show car/ricey but to each their own or whatever they say

lambo hinges are are actually stronger than stock,and suicide hinges OMG obvisously you all have never seen any,hell they probably weigh 3-5 pounds apeice.there is no difference in getting hit in the side with any of those hinges,I'm around them every weekend plus have helped install a bunch of them

Yeah i've never seen them in person but was always curious. If I got into a wreck that was bad enough to crush in the doors it's not really going to matter either way though. The doors will cave in regardless of how they're hinged.
