quick paint job

i'm debating on wether i should buy a bunch of spray cans of primer and paint, roll it on or just get cheap paint and use the spray gun? i'm not looking for perfection obviously just a cheap and easy method to paint my car when spring comes.

ive seen a thread around this website somewhere when someone did an awesome roll-on job with the hood. But really nothing beats using air spraygun. Check maaco out theyll give you an estimate.

Well, from what I have read from the roll on stuff, you could spend a few more bucks and go to one of those quick pain job places and just as good a job and not have to do the work.

I would not use spray cans. you will not get the results your wanting, trust me.

ill go with cheap paint and use a spray gun. just for the fact that at the end, the finish product will actually look very very decent

Depending on what Maaco shop you use will make a world of difference. Some of them turn out great, some of them are complete shit. You can do the roller job at home and have alot of sanding to do but it will come out better then alot of the jobs Maaco has done. I've never used them personally. But from what i've heard it's back and forth with Maaco. No matter where you go ask to see their previous work or cars that they are working on at the time. They should have pictures of people's cars that have come through that they've painted.

i'm gunna check a few shops for a quik spray and if they wnat to much i'll spray it with my gun..prob. a gunmetal grey
