Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    fuel cap relocation

    their is a threAD on hear about relocating the gas cap behind the left back tail light. i pm the guy that origally did it over a week ago and he still hasned responed to me. so im posting a thread my self.


    just trying to see if anybody had some pointers when doing this. any suggetion any idea???

    don't get me no bull shit about something blowing up. I VE GOT THAT PART COVERED THANKS!!!

    IF U HAVEN'T seen the pics of what im talking about i think that its really cool!!

          OP, the "guy" hasn't responded to you because he hasn't been logged on since you PMed him about it. I'm sure he'll PM you next time he's logged on.

          If you're in such a hurry to get it done ASAP, start rerouting the tank filler neck to the trunk, patching up the OEM fuel door, and by that time I'm sure he'll be able to assist you in making it custom into the tail light.

              that is such a pita mod.

              Your skill level to do that mod should be as such that by simply looking at the picture you would see all you need to see in order to do it. If not...don't attempt it.

                  Which is why I linked him to the other thread. there are enough pics in there to show him a few ways to do the mod.

                    if you think he bought a kit, he didn't. i like the swing hinge light best.

                    you will be doing alot of refabricating.

                    welding near your fuel line is dangerous, BTW

                        I am fully understandable of that. that is why I did not make another post/thread about it (other then the note I made above). I was simply waiting till I got a reply.

                              it has nothing to do with looking at the pics and going for their YES this is a "pita mod" but its not the point i'm looking for anything helpful before i start this.
                              ypou know maybe something lthat he wished he'd rather done to impprove what he already did. something to make it better than what it already is, or even safer!!

                              PLUS i wanna do a DIY for this
