Fuckers. That's just not fair. I'd still rather shift with my right hand though so I don't care lol.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

JDM to american?

i know this isnt exactly what the OP asked about. But american cars them selves are a huge hit over there too. Much like a Skyline is too us, say a 69 SS camaro is to them, or any muscle car really. They seem to love those massive gas guzzling caddys too!
I worked with a guy awhile back that did 100% complete ground up builds on some old american cars and trucks. I mean he would do everything 100% brand new down to every single nut and bolt, didnt miss a thing. His cars would come out looking like they just came off the assembly line back in the 50's or whatever year he was building. And when he was done, he shipped them over to japan and sold them. Made a ton of money. What he might sell here for 30 grand, he could make an easy 80-100 grand over there. Completely NUTS.

Japanese people love to rice out their cars. If you see some of the imports prior to them getting cleaned up by the Canadian importers you'll see how much random shit is thrown onto them. Big wings, body kits, altezzas, stickers, various electronic items etc.
And I know that they swap out the JDM front end on S13 for a USDM front end. If you ever look at the drift cars there, most of them are not clean; they are over the top with stickers, huge spoilers, body kits etc. It's all about getting the attention.
The only thing with JDM rice is that their motors are already more powerful that ours, so I guess there is some go with the show.
Lastly, there was a skyline r34 imported into Dubai that the owner got switched to left hand drive. When you have the money anything is doable, lol.

The Japanese have cut up their CBs and sold them off for parts so that we could enjoy their 15 year0old parts so that we could make our 16~20 year old cars look good.
Anyways, I spy a Torneo in this picture

You couldn't be any further from the truth, or in fact, any more racist. That's the kind of mentality that started racism against asian nationalities in the US.
I don't even know how many people i would offend if i said, "irish, scottish, oh those are just the same thing."
So please be careful with what you say, because honestly, that statement you made completely offended me.
OP - I've actually noticed a sort of USDM craze in Japan. For anyone who has ever owned an Acura, you know that in Japan they love to make their Hondas into Acuras (i.e. Legends, Integras, TL's. The list goes on and on).Originally posted by cb715401 View PostChina Japan same difference. But that wasnt the point just wanted to show a overseas riced out carLast edited by gcvphoto; 09-26-2009, 04:34 PM.
