Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Antenna sucks...

    Quick question... Today i got my new antenna mast and went to install it. After failing i asked my brother to help me ( hes way better then cars then me ). Well anyways he dosent work stupid power antenna's and broke the damn thing. Im going to try to get the ebay seller to replace it ( most likely not ). Anyways if that dosent work do you think i should buy a new antenna OR... My brother works at AMS and could snag me an evo 8/9 antenna for free. Which do you think i should do? ( i will keep the power antenna if i can get the mast replaced for free )

      Anything free is worth a try!

        Go with the free Evo antenna. It will save you the headache dealing with ebay vendors.

            You can also get a hidden antenna and shave it all together like I did with mine...

              good idea shaved antenna ftw just make sure u do it right....when i did mine the first time i knw how it should b done but took the half assed way n just fiberglassed over it.......or do the s2k antenna but try the evo one if its free like the others here said it will save u a lot of headahe w the ebay vendors. EVERYTHING as far as they know was working when they took it out of the car and most likely they will blame you for the problem it is having now. Hence you wont get your money back.

                Well the guy on ebay told me he would replace it for free and sent me a new one. So hopefully i dont screw this one up. And im not going to shave the antenna because i would have no way of painting it or ect i just want a functional antenna.
