Steering Wheel Help

I just made a trip to the junk yard to take apart of steering columns just to see what i had to do. Looks like its def possible. might try it later to day will keep everyone updated.

On my 93 LX, the cruise control wires are in along with the airbag wires and integrated into the clock spring. There is a yellow plug about six inches down from the steering wheel. That has to be disconnected in order to remove your steering wheel and airbag. The airbag wires, cruise wires, and horn wire are in that harness. From the yellow plug to the wheel it is like a ribbon cable. From the yellow plug back, I'm not sure, never paid attention. I suppose you could relocate the switch somewhat easily by disecting the ribbon cable and tying into the wires at the yellow plug below the steering column. It would just be a matter of extending the wires to reach I guess. In my opinion, it could be done with a bit of wiring knowledge and/or a helms manual.

my car has the same thing also. for the horn on the yellow peice i found was located on the bottom right after unplugging the yellow harnes. i ran a wire there to connect to the back of my hub. and that connects tot herest of horn on my steering wheel, but when i plug it in, my horn goes off without turning off.

I would fabricate a bracket and mount it under the dash *like the Integra's maintenance light reset button* simply lean down and press the button *you will memorize it after a couple of times* and the wiring harness will reach since it runs that route to begin with.
