ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

really dont know how in americ, what kind aftermarket car parts salers there is, but allways is honda's own replacing panels, and secondly, still dont know hoq quality panels you guys have there, but in scandinavian, well... it's not so cut and weld little hammering, bending and other various methods are needed.

so, i say go to honda dealer and ask the replacing panel from there.

and what comes to doing it yourself, if you dont have good pneumatic tools to cutting, i would almost say forget it, it will be pain in the donkey to get jsut regular grinder nice and even cut, or i have problem... ofcourse if you know what you are doing with poor tools, no prob. i didn't

I got replacement rear quarter panels from a local Honda parts supplier, exact fit. I'm in Canada, and it cost $65 each. I cut off the old rusty parts with a grinder with a metal cut off blade. You really should weld the replacement panels on. I didn't, I pop-riveted them on, anyone here will tell you I will have trouble ahead with rust coming back to bite me on the ass.

As for the trunk, how big is the hole? If it's about the size of a quarter after the rust is removed, you could just JB-Weld a piece of metal on the inside and paint of it.

my two cents, do not make any jb welds or so, there is no shortcut to happines, it probably looks good for year or two, then rust will be again on surface, and you must do samething again.

so if you going do it, do it right at first place, you and maybe second owner of your car, if you ever sell it will aprove it much more

New pannels are entirely worth the cost. As it using proper materials and taking your time.

Here was my last weekend. I didn't take many pictures, but peep it.
