Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Tow Hooks

    I want to a front tow hook for show. For those who have them, how did you install it? and where did you pick them up. Thanks for those who respond.

      Heres mine, i bolted mine on the bumper support and bought it at EBAY.. $35.00

                Got my old skool Z-Speed tow hooks from my friend who lived in Osaka..

                Front


                Rear


                Both tow hooks are bolted on to the chassis...I have no pics of how the rear one is installed, but I do have a pic of the front one...



                Front one has been tested, and it worked...Rear one has never been tested yet But it does mount on where the factory tow hook was originally mounted..

                  Like offroad tow hooks kinda thing? My buddy has tow hooks all over his jeep.

                    The rebar is fiberglass. I wouldnt use it. The core support is too weak. I think it needs to be attached to the frame rail some how or the factory spot like he said.

                      since it's just for show...

                      get some cardboard, cut it out, paint with metalic paint...or wood.

                      or just super glue one to the bumper...if its all for show

                          for those who have to get their cars towed on a flat bed. you dont have to take your bumper off in order to find a place to mount the hook.


                          it was 1st made for cars at the tracks(course racing). if you got put in the ditch or something like that, they had something to pull the car out of harms way instead of trying to find somewhere to mount a hook from the truck.
