Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    OEM style projectors

    Hey, was just browsing when I came across these.

    I was just wondering about the quality of the light output, and if it compared to retrofits.

    Anyone who has used these and can give me their opinion would be great.

    no aftermarket projector will match the output of an oem projector...

    and btw... andysautosport sucks ass!

    ive seen some aftermarkets that were decent, and for the ease of it they are worth it...but as for looks, eh.

          the absolute worst service/ship time ive ever had!!!!!

          a month and a half after i ordered i called to see where it was and they said they didnt even know where it was

          they couldnt even tell me if it had left...

              yep, you have better luck with ebay due to feedback making sellers want to do their best to make a positive feedback.

              and it would be cheaper

                  F22hb has those projectors on his CB, and they are excellent!
                  I think the light output with HID kit installed is brilliant with no glare and a nice even cutoff.

                    i think retrofits are better. b/c you can be creative making your own custom shrouds and all.

                      With any aftermarket projector, I would DEFINITELY suggest an HID kit. I've never known anything like that to have a light output that's acceptable with regular halogens. It's not very safe when you can't see in front of you!

                      And yeah, I've heard stories about Andy's Auto Sport that makes me never want to buy from them... and I hear more and more every time they come up! One of our moderators ordered a body kit... they sent him one for the wrong car.

                        MIchael, did you ever fix the gaping wound on the rear quarter? I'd be more concerned with that than with projectors.
