ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Lowering Kit for a true JDM CB7

What would be the best option on a lowering kit for my CB7? If you haven't seen my CB7, here it is: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=134646

    suspension intakes, headers and exhaust

will fit from a regular cb (h22)
if u get a cheap header, u wont have an issue hitting one of the a/c lines

as far as SUSP, it really depends on how ur money is, a decent spring/strut combo will do

kyb w agx is a popular setup people use here

in all reality, there isn't THAT much of a difference mechanically between a JDM and USDM CB. chassis code changes sometimes. yours might actually be a CB3.

for suspension, look at some "My Ride" threads and see what look you like as far a stance. and then look and see what they have and judge from there.

The JDM H22 exhaust manifold is as good, if not better than most aftermarket headers. AGX sucks...I can't recommend them. They're a drop killer, and they're prone to blowing if you go below the 1.5" warranty limit. I was on a 1.8/1.5 drop, and both my front struts were apparently blown after less than 20k miles.

Chasis code for a CB Coupe in Japan was CB6.

If you want a high quality, yet simple setup... I suggest Neuspeed or H&R springs (Sport is about 1.7", Race is around 2"... check the manufacturer sites for exact specs) and Koni Sport (Yellow) struts. The Konis have a lifetime warranty, regardless of ride height. They are very high quality, and will give you comfort when you want it, and sporty handling when you want that.
