ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I dont really know many of the name brands for hubs.....but im assuming that aint no 20 dollar hub

I dont need the quick release shit.....I have a feeling that if i take off the wheel ill eventually loose it....and I dont foresee myself taking the wheel off at the mall or something....cuz then id have to carry it around and its just a pain in the nuts then.

Also I see on the neuspeed website it says you need the momo hub adapater for momo steering wheels....it makes sense.....but is it true....or is it a way to get more money outta me? haha

Im not planning on getting a momo wheel anytime soon.....I broke my stock 92/93 and I have a 90/91 on there now but it doesnt sit right....I can get a deal on an aftermarket steering wheel as temp fix.....but in the long run I do want a fancy smacy steering wheel....but I dont wanna have to buy 2 hubs if i can avoid it.

James.... I think mine was like $27 shipped. Its the second one Ive used.

Its not "the best" and you dont get any "jay dee emm" boner points, but it works just fine for me. YOu can tell its cheap when you look at it seperatly... like theres lots of flashing from the casting and shit and the finish is lumpy... but who cares... Its not like you can see it.

Feel free to have a look at mine the next time you're out and you can see if you think its alright.

I dont really care if the thing looks cheap when you examine it.....The thing I wanna know is if the cheap hubs will work with the expensive steering wheels.

lol, you want to trust your life to something that cost $27 shipped? It's not about jay dee emm boner points, which I see is the dumbest arguement ever when trying to rationalize NOT spending the money for a quality part.

"waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa it costs too much to be jdm, i'll go on ebay shopping spree, same shit waaaaaaaaa"

course you would need a hub adapter to install an aftermarket stereing wheel. Only oem ones come w/ the hub built in like the itr non-srs. Only problem with a momo adapter is you cant run a nardi or a personal because they use different bolt patterns, but they make an adapter for it.

I'd just buy a momo hub and have some peace of mind...If you make it a habit of half assing it and not spending the money--your car is going to be one big half assed pos.

What makes the "ebay" adapters of less quality than the momo or other expensive ones?

Appearance is one thing, actual quality is another. Vitara pistons look like shit, but can support just as much as the expensive, forged pistons.

Kinda like an "ebay" strut bar vs a Cusco. They're both equally functional and neither will last much longer than the other. One has jdm points the and the possibility of getting laid increase.
