ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    SPC Adjustable camber on ebay?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SPC-A...Q5fAccessories

I read a lot of people buying the SPC balljoint kit but spending twice as much. Did anybody else buy it here on ebay? Because IMO it sounds way too good to be true and im a click away from buying it.

Anybody? If not, a place that sells this kit for dirt cheap?

but most the time the sellers on ebay only sell one so read the fine print and email them to be 100% that its 2. cuz i did that and they replied it was only one
        Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.

          ^^^ Quite.

I'd be wary of an auction for camber kits that didn't specify '(2)' or 'pair.'

Skip the ebay auction, go to TAS and get there front upper control arms w/ adjustable ball joints already installed. They are about $300 but then you have all new, no worries. Just my opinion. good luck

I'm running that exact camber kit on my car.

Keep in mind there are 2 versions. The one in the auction is for 1.5 to 3.0+ adjustment. (This is for slammed cars)

The other one they have is for 0 to 1.5+.

Install can be a b*tch though, you'll need a press to get the old ball joints out. Some auto shops have presses; I'm guessing it'll be around 10-30 bucks to do both sides if you don't do it yourself.

If they're real SPC, they're good. If they're a knockoff, I'd be wary. I've had "ebay" camber kits break on me (Dropzone, in particular).

Replacing the ball joint in the upper control arm is not recommended, though. It weakens the metal, especially if you're running an aftermarket replacement arm (like I was...)

The TASauto arms are the best deal there is. Safe, quality, and relatively affordable for what you get. Comes with urethane bushings, too.

Agreed with the TAS stuff. I wish I had known about them before I bought the SPC setup a few years ago.

Also, like others have mentioned, stay away from the generic stuff! it's freaking dangerous. I had some ingall replicas break on me. Luckily, only one side broke and I noticed it in time.

If I had the time I would have got em from E-Bay, I went to Eibach and payed just under $300 cdn. But I needed them right away. Oh well. Work great.

Too bad. At least you found out before purchasing them, though.
