ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Yellow High Beams

Can anyone tell me how you can DIY when it comes to the Yellow high beams? Might be a stupid question. But I really love that look.

Remove your headlight off from ur cb, then remove all plastic parts and bracket, preheat your oven at 250 deg and place your headlight inside the oven for about 8-10 mins then get some gloves and take out. get a flat head screwdriver and gently pry off the glass.

now u need masking tape and blade. start masking all the chrome except the high beam. Use Stain glass yellow spray paint can be found at arts & crafts stores. once done masking start spraying when done remove all tape and place the headlight glass togther, press hard and place back in the oven for couple mins take out replace all clips. and ur done.

Yeah I just slapped in a set of yellow bulbs in the highs and its all good. When you look at the headlight straight on the yellow reflects of the reflector shit and it kinda looks like you got some yellow housed shit.

Thanks guys. Yeah I think I am going to go to the craft store and get that stained glass paint and while it is all apart go ahead and do the black inside that headlight too. Saw an interesting thread on using an orange Sharpie to do the front turns. Just can't find a fat orange sharpie ANYWHERE.....

try staples or an office max for the sharpie

Yeah, I'd just get some yellow bulbs. I've got yellow Nokya bulbs in my highs and fogs. I've checked the ones in my fogs, they look good. Have yet to see what the yellow highs look like in my new head lights

Because MOST aftermarket amber/orange corner lights come without reflectors. Without reflectors they're illegal... and ugly.
