Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    M3 mirror wiring (Motor Motion)

    Ok I just played with my new mirrors for about 20 frustrating minutes. I didn't see it here so I figured I'd post it.
    I took a '93' mirror while harness/plug something of the sort, clip it and and got the wires right. Still not sure I'll keep them.

    I am not sure which wire does what motion (please feel free to add that). Well without further delay here you go if any of you thinking about it.

    my mirrors came with six wires black, blue, white, green, yellow, and another white.

    The mirror motor is attached to the Green, Yellow, and one of the Whites.
    I spliced
    Green to the yellow/white (yw) harness wire.
    Yellow to the red/yellow harness wire.
    White to the yellow/black harness wire.

    That it for now. Next weekend I'll be wiring the blinker through the fender and putting them on.

        I always have a hard time posting the pictures. I gues they have to hosted somewhere else and then linked here. Let me see I can get a somewhere to host the images.

                oic i thought they where real deal and they would fit one of my freinds at work has one and he just got carbon fiber ones and was thinking of getting his old one and have them one mine but guess not

                  Yeah just like those. I kinda feeling like they are cheap. The plastic is supposed strengthend or something but I don't feel like. And only because I don't want to feel like I wasted my money, I will use them.

                  So the weather sucks today in Bensalem, PA so I won't be putting them on.
