ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Pics of our dirty cars/windshields to show the range of how far the wiper arm goes..
Mike a.k.a. 604_cb7 is running a longer wiper arm/wiper blade while I run the shorter one...The different setup is due to difference in our body height..I'm about half his height Different height, different preferences..
In a way this is a selfish conversion, because the passenger will get a bit of blind spot on the right side of the windshield..But the driver gets full view..And the best part is, no wiper arm stuck halfway across the windshield like the other ricey uni-wiper style
The main reason I decided to do this was because my wiper motor was starting to die on me....Doing this conversion saves my wiper motor since it now only has to run 1 wiper arm instead of two..3 years later and the wiper motor is still running!

I like this mod because it looks like your windshiled has a rainbow or just somehow looks happy, lol.
The way Ive heard or was told is that you move your passenger arm over to the driver side pivot and voila. Takes some trial and error, of course, but beyond that, i think it would just be a matter of mixing and matching blades and arms to meet your preference. Like Ronlad said, different drivers sit and different heights and positions.
And this is just a thought, but wouldnt you be going through blades at about the same rate? Because one blade is now wiping the entire windshield as opposed to only about half....

As for the wiper blade, it doesn't seem like it gets more fatigue from this conversion...But I do change it once every two years, due to the amount of rain we get here in Raincouver! Not to mention the snow and ice in the winter time...Perhaps if I live in SoCal, the blade would last about 10x longer
I've thought about this the past year or so, but it would've been nice if I can adapt the wiper assembly off a RHD CB, just to move the "center" pivot more towards the passenger side so I can have the rainbow go the other way around as opposed to my current setup...And after that I'd just get a longer blade, so my side would get a complete coverage, and the wiper arm won't have to rotate as far...I'd feel bad for my passenger tho
Now if only the RHD wiper motor assembly can bolt on directly onto our cars, this would've been done a long time ago! All I'd need after that would be the RHD plastic cover that covers the wiper motor assembly..Unfortunately, it looks like some work will need to be done...Perhaps a future plan?

The Mercedes mono-wiper actually pushes out to the corners of the windshield. It'll make you sick to watch it from the interior, but this video shows it pretty good. It would be sick to put the whole Benzo set up on a CB7.
