Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Running lights on CB9

    I notice a couple of pictures here on the forums and I'm just a little confused...

    When I turn my head-lights on, only my headlights come on. Nothing else. Should the lights in my bumper and side-markers come on as well? My first 4th Gen Accord so I don't know these things.

    The lights in my bumper work when I use the turn signal, but the side markers don't.....

    Wiring nightmare maybe? *frustration*

    Bumper lights are only turn signals.

      Yet another disturbing image there Josh! I kept looking for splatters on the tub and tile! Gonna have to look around and see what I've got to counteract the disturbing imagery you subject me to!

            There are two bulbs in each corner light (which I'm assuming what you're referring to). Both bulbs light up, but only one "blinks" per side. If none of them light up, could be as simple as a blown/missing bulb.

              When you say side markers, do you mean the corners, or do you have side markers between the wheel well and the door? Either way, they should be on. Unless you've got intersection lights in the lower front bumper, those should only light up when you have the turn signal on.

                Sorry, I meant corners.

                Yeah, they don't light up. Haven't checked for turn signal illum though... I will when I go back out by my car for sure.

                  Corners should definitely light up, check the connections, bulbs, the fuse and the relay. 98% of the problems are one of those..

                      I have been a forum whore ever since I bought my first Honda: 95 Civic VP coupe 5MT w/ only 102k. I miss that car... If only it didn't have horrendous hail damage.

                          Well, I have been in the business of taking apart my Hondas for the hell of it for about 5 years now and I've been working side by side with my dad in our heavy duty truck repair shop for about 10 years... If I know the problem I am good at doing the work, but diagnosing takes a lot of practice... You know how it goes.
