Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I Need My Car Lower!!!

    i have a big problem! I have a 90 f22, i bought the car withblown stock shocks with stock springs, i changed the springs to make the car lower with some Tenzo R springs(1.5F-2.0R). It is low As you can see in the first pic With blown shocks, ( BTW the 2.0 in da rear was too low so i raised it with some clamps from pepboys). anyway it rode like shit with the shocks, so i changed them to KYB GR2s, which made the car raise up as u can see in the other pics. i need the car lower! i saw on ebay Teins 2.1F-1.7R, and Skunk2 2.0F-1.8R. which one should i get to be lower then what i am now (BTW the teins are a little more expensive about 25$ more). which would go good with my GR2 height???

    damn you want it lower than that? thats pretty low right there and the stance looks good from what i can see... why go lower??

      Remeber it will take a little time and the struts will settle. It will lower just a little bit more then.

        KYBs are known for being dropp killers. unless you have a set of coilovers( a good brand. no ebay) then you might be stuck with that height. or you caan get some Skunk2's or some good coilovers(Megan Racing, Ground Control or Skunk2 coilovers)

            Tein doesnt give you much of a drop. 2" at the most from what ive seen. Skunk2 is more of a 2.25-2.75" drop i do believe. ive never used them before but ive always heard good things about them.

              But 2.1 and up is tkind of too low cause i had 2.0 in da back and it was too low, so i had to raise it, or maybe because it was the blown shocks i had on when i installed them! wat u think?

                  i know, but i mostly want to be a sleeper car! but i will be taken care of by the summertime dont worry!! so.... TEIN or SKUNK2??

                    Mine sits tight with Blue tockio Struts....Handles Awsome!!

                    Also has unknown Yellow Lowering Springs..

                        From Queens and want to go lower than 2' Dropp.. Alot of Ducking The Manholes on Bklyn/Queens..lol..

                              i feel you though.. but with that much of a dropp its not going to be cheap dont forget your going to have to do it right to avoid spending more money then you actually wanted too in the first place .. go with a camber kit , or youll be looking @ replaing those tires more often then youd like
