ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Is this a good HID kit to use?

I've got a 93 and I'm looking for HID kits. I'd like the plug and play. I'm new to HID's so I don't know what all is good and bad out there. I like the blueness of the 8k, but understand that the 6k is brighter, which I like. I can get blue another way, so that's not an issue.
Came across these by googling 93 honda accord HID conversion.

What are you guys running for HID's?

    Thanks in advance,
    Andrew

i personally have never heard of them ( but that does not mean that they are not any good ). i have run techone hids with no problems, but i am going to try hids from www.v-leds.com for my next car. i have some other bulbs from vleds and they are awsome and i have had zero issues with them. vleds is also on ebay for the same prices that are on there website, so you could buy through ebay if you feel safer doing that. good luck either way you go and if you decide to go with the ones that you found let us know how it turns out.

Not a single name on the entire setup.

No, they didn't come with a relay... few do.
You can order the relay here though:

Isn't the whole NO high beam thing bad? Could you get some 8k's for low beam and a 5-6k for high beam so that if you need to, you can still flash people? I don't wanna do it if I can't flash peeps. I do it to warm about cops and to say,"Hey dumb@$$ your brights are on!"

It's been foggy/rainy all day and night since I've put my HIDs in.
I can at least twice as well as I could before with halogen.

But wouldn't your highs be.....less bright with the HID's installed?
So how could you high beam someone if need be?

I wanted HID kit for my car. And the shop over here they run about 250 plus install. But if you wanna save alot of money than just get it on ebay for like around 60-80 S&H For me i think xenon is a good brand.
