ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    leaky Trunk?!?!?

Ok, so I went out side last night to grab a box of of my trunk and i noticed it was dripping wet. (it rained last night) I lifted up the carpet in my trunk and noticed the spare tire was sitting in a pool of rain water does anyone know were this could be coming from?? I replaced the seals around my tail lights and that still has not helped.

Do you have a wing or spoiler? My old trunk was leaking through the wing holes.

My trunk is full of surface rust, I need to get in there and have it all sanded down and repainted. I had to gut the carpet, floor board, etc, out of the trunk because it was full of mildew and the floor board was warped and nasty. I was horified to see all of the surface rust... it's the only rust on the entire car, though. I'm not sure where mine is coming from... I've checked it after a drive-thru car wash and after a heavy rain, the only water I can find is a small pool right in the driver's side corner of the trunk (below the rear quarter panel tail light and power antenna motor). I can't feel any wetness around the antnenna motor, so I don't believe that it's the culprit. Ironically, where I find the pool of water, there is no rust (Only a little mildew). The rest of the trunk is full of surface rust... but is bone dry. IDK.

I'm going to replace the tail lights and then sand the trunk down/repaint and leave it gutted for a while to check for further leaks.

I'm in the process of filling all the small Rust holes that I found in the trunk and around the trunk seal..
Next I'm going to use some Spray on Bed-Linner that I got form Wallmart to keep the rust away and double as a Good Sound Proofer...
