ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Moonroof/Sunroof visor hardware

One of my friend brought me from the scrapyard an OEM moonroof visor to put on my CB7 but I don't have the hardware to put it on... I don't want to glue it or tape it with double side tape... So I'm asking you guys if you know where I could find a hardware kit for my visor since the one for the CB7 is discontinued...

If found out that the one for the 98 Accord should also fits but I can't find some....

    Thanks a lot!

haha well you could always go back to the junkyard and find the hardware but other than doing that i dont know where to get it
You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

I already tought about going back to the junkyard, one of my friends work there and he tried to pick them up but he was not able to remove them since the car was pretty much destroy and there were no power to open up the moonroof... maybe I'll ask his boss to go in the yard and plug the moonroof on 12v and pick those "really hard to find" clips!!
Anyway, it's winter here in Quebec and I'm not in a rush so I have all my time to find the right ones

You don't need the car to have power to get those clips at the junk yard, all you need is a flat head screw driver. Jus wedge the the flat head in the front of the sunroof and pry it back a bit, jus enough to get the clips out. Trust me, been there, done that

in the spare tools bag, they've got a sunroof visor tool to manually crank it open. That's what I do when I see a sunroof visor at the JY. Then you can turn it by removing that plastic cover in the headliner directly behind the dome light. Lefty loosy and it opens the sunroof, exposing those clips for you to grab.
