Anybody with entire front windshield tint..

For anybody with their WINDSHIELD tinted

I have a 5% strip on the top of my windshield but i was thinking about getting the whole thing done.

I was thinking 35% but the guy at the tint store has 20%.. post up some pictures if you have it..

Is it much harder to see out of at night? I know its illegal but ill take my chances!

suppose to be illegal to tint more than the top of your windshield in california. I would check your state tint laws.

Why?

On the flipside, i saw a thing years back about ppl leaving a "box" so to speak that wasnt tinted and tinted everything else around it. Kinda like a peep hole.

Well when I move back to vegas, the heat in the summer and the glare is ridiculous. haha whats wrong with a peep hole!? thats what i have right now. i think i have about 15% all around

why not just get a window shade for when your not in your car?

for heat reasons I suggest getting clear UV tint that supposedly is great with keeping your car cool.

i have my whole winshield tinted with 50% tint. cops have never noticed the windshield was tinted.

i wouldn't go darker than 35 because you have to factor in dark back roads on a rainy night.


i used to have a 24'' strip of 5% from the top and bottom and it bothered most cops. later.

well 50% is probably dark enough then, ill probably go with that.

damn i thought mine going 6'' below the as1 line was low, 24'' is wayyy low!!!

Not just a ticket magnet. Depending on the cop he might make u tear it off right there before u can leave with the car. Been there. Seen that. Not cool.

A friend of mine has his ram quad cab done. It is very light in the front but with the rest of the truck tinted darker it looks great. Vision is great during the day and it does not hamper vision at night.

thats what i want just a little color. dont need it to be dark

cops dont like tint because you could be hiding a gun. its scary enough to walk up to an unknown car without having to worry about having a gun pointing at your face behind black glass. cops arent just upholding the law there. their doing their best to protect themselves and their fellow officers. it becomes a personal thing which is why most cops can be dicks when i tcomes to tint
