ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Interior restoration/door panels

Since Honda's are bad about the cloth inserts on the door panels peeling off, has anyone had their door panels redone? Just tryin to see what all is out there for ideas. This is what I did with mine. It looks decent I think.

Hmm. Would have looked better if I wedged an extension cord in the gap. . . . . . . . I think we should add something to the list of rules. How about, "DON'T BE AN ASS AND BASH ON OTHER PEOPLE'S THREADS." I don't care if you ARE a moderator, that was a very dick comment.

            Wow.
            He wasn't "bashing" you.
He was simply giving you piece of advice.

IMO, you're the one being an ass.

No the door panels aren't black, they're maroon. It's just the shadows. I tried to find the closest color to that maroon and after a couple tries gave up and decided a little contrast wouldn't be bad. It ended up only costin about 40$ in supplies which beats droopy cloth falling off.

Advice? . . . . . Stick an extension cord in your door and it would look better? That sounds pretty insulting to me.

actually this has been said over and over again in this type of thread trying to help people out w/ a quick easy fix so the gap doesnt show he's just trying to help you and give constructive criticism. if her was being a dick he would have said man that look slike shit and dont post the pics till you can do it right and not halfassed . i thought the same thing when i saw the pic need a piece of black cored or rubber in the gaps to complete it

Show me a pic of what you're talking about. I'm now open to constructive criticism. It is a stock daily driver with the door panels peeling apart. I thought this looked much better than what I had. Actually I think it looks better than factory but that's just my opinion.

seriously dude, it sounds cheapass but u get a peice of wire that's the right size to wedge itself around the panel inserts in that gap. it's more or less like that strip of rubber crap that holds the screen in your house windows.

Why dont you TRY to figure out what the hell you're talking about BEFORE posting. If you dont understand maybe refrain from posting until you do, cause you kinda end up with you foor in your mouth.

Somone else used outdoor garden power cord as trim when they re did those pannels, it looked and fit good. Pay attention. I havent even done anything to my interior and I knew that.

If your that easily offended you might want to stay off teh intrawebzzz, cause you're for sure going to get your "e-feelings" hurt.

Il see if I can find the pic for you.

I just get really offensive when people talk to me like they think they're BETTER than me. I don't appreciate that kind of attitude. So your car's nicer than mine. That's totally cool but don't be cocky about it. . . . . . . . And I actually am not afraid to DRIVE my car through dirt. That's what a car wash is for.
