ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Theres a difference between being lowered, and having a good suspension.

      Lowered
      Pros
      Looks good

      Cons
      Ride isn't good
handling isn't any better (maybe worse)
      bottom out
      eat tires
      suspension wear

      Good suspension
      Pros
      Looks good
      Turns better
      Ride is more stable
Feel more connected to the road
      Ride is what you choose

      Cons
      Bumps scrapes etc
      More responsibility
      wat?

Cons: Transmission cracking twice on you, things start rattling, and the fear of making anything on the road a hockey puck.

Pros: Awesome cornering, great steering response, good looks, and maybe even slightly better mpg for being lower to the ground lol.

That's what most people think, it is a very unsafe assumption, a drop using low quality parts can take your life. 15 dollar coilovers can't balance 3000 pounds taking curves at 80mph on highways forever.

1k should get you a very good setup.

By the way wasn't saying you have a bad suspension just saying people usually assume that just by dropping the car that's it its done.

i did say that didnt i ? i think that because the suspension is done back in 1995. i think it is too old. im not sure.

the good thing about driving with lowered good suspension and wider wheels is on the freeway you can turn at high speeds while other cars have to brake.

Ex im in the 1990 accord and this new tsx was on my right and i passed him while turn.. i think he was like wtf?

he must not have been pushing it hard, those new acuras will walk all over these accords, not saying you dont have decent suspension, but they just are a great all around built car
