ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Lowering 96 accord as to 92 accord

So here is my question i just lowerd my friends 96 accord on some lowering spring and i put a camber kit. my car is basically the same but where the a arm moves up and down on my 92 it dosent hit anything thats good. on his car 96 accord it hits the iner seam or weld spot so which upon inspection its actually located closer to the a arm as to a cb7. but i know theese cars have been lowerd many time (96 accords) and people have had to deal with this my question is would i have to cut and weld or should i bang it out. sorry no pics at the moment but i will try to post them up to show my problem.

Yeah I know exactly what you're talkin bout. It depends on how much you drop your car and what type of camber kit you use. I have mine dropped prolly around 3.25" and have a ball joint style camber kit. It definitely hits when going over bumps and what not. I don't suggest cutting anything cuz it could ruin the integrity of the body in that spot and who knows what could happen then. I had my camber kit grinded down a little and the inner wheel well banged out a bit and now all is well. What I did is dropped the car and installed the camber kit and got an alignment. Then I drove around for a couple of days and then looked up in the wheel well and you'll be able to see exactly were it is hitting cuz there will be marks from the camber kit. Then I had the camber kit grinded down and had it banged out. Grinding the camber kit isn't really necessary cuz I had a CB before and just banged it and it worked fine but I just grinded it for a precaution. And remember if it still hits after all that just give it some time and eventually the camber kit itself will bang itself a nice groove. Hope that helps.

Old pic no problem here. The issue is with the camber kit. You bend it a little. (off the body not the arm)

Oh, my bad I thought you was talkin bout the CB. Well I'm not entirely familiar with the CD but from what you described I would think just bend out the weld so the arm clears. But like I said before I don't suggest cutting anything.
