Yellow lights illegal?

Just got pulled over for yellow lights and the cop told me they where illegal. Their just yellow bulbs not HID. Are they illegal? This is the 2nd time being pulled over for stupid shit. I got pulled over last week for a flag on my mirror and loud exhaust. He didnt even hear it and it had a silencer.

I always see factory lights on older car that look yellow? I have yellow bulbs on my low beams.

No "yellow yellow" on headlight for night time..but if its like stock yellow than its cool..

damn your area cops must suck. My friend has this yellow laminX film over his headlights on his GTI. He's been driving like that for two years w/o being hassled ever.

Depends on the area if the cops are strict or not. Yellow bulbs are illegal in all states I believe.

Me running yellow bulbs for 8 months gave me no problems at all because cops here are not hot on imports.

I used to have yellow hids but switched over to white when I started getting 6 tickets from the same cop on my way to work.

Nobody else ever bothered me though I changed them because I gotta see this guy almost everyday.
