um...card board thingy in trunk....90 accord

ok so im cleaning under the carpet in my trunk since i had it and i noticed the card board thing is all worpped and ripped, i feel like an idiot for not checking on it when i bought it but i checked and there no water damage to anything else thank god, looks like from the imprint someone placed a leeky cooler in there and sat there a while.

bottom line i need to replace it, what is this part really called and where can i find one....tried ebay, no luck so far, look at a junk yard, those ones are nasty too...

Where are you in Houston? I recommend Gillman Honda South (used to work there). 59S & Beltway 8. Ask for Andy in parts.

I used to live in Spring, I'm up in Conroe now. We should meet up sometime. I think I should be down there one day this week, not sure when yet, to pick up my CB. It's at my parent's house at the moment.
Gillman's a bit of a drive from Tomball. Might want to try Goodson North on I-45, John Eagle on 290. Or, come up to Conroe to Streeter-Smith. Goodson's probably the closest to you though.

just make one out of plywood, it will be alot stronger than the oem one, and you can make it fit perfectly in your trunk, and you can bolt stuff down to it (ie: subs, battery box, etc)

for sure, actualy im aslo trying to find a cheap place to put in my clutch, actualy havent done it yet but have the parts, had it at a place and was going to pay them but manager decided to say no at the last minute, they tried to sell me another one under warranty... so i guess i should change my sig lol

I kinda know a guy up here in Conroe that runs a shop, but I don't know what he'd charge to put in a clutch.
If you need a shop that can do it, I can make a few calls and see if I can find a friend that knows a shop that'll do it for a good price.

It would be heavier, but stronger. And probably cheaper too. If you decide to do that, I'd go with maybe 1/8 or 1/4 inch wood, 1/2 inch at most.
