ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I made a thread about the Dropzone springs, and I was pushed away by people have actually owned them. I was pushed towards Sprint springs. Sprint also makes springs for a 2.25" drop, just like Dropzone...and aren't pricey. 160 (free shipping).

You really want to use shit coilovers made for a totally different car?

                  No, they won't fit.

Even if they did, they're absolute garbage.

Sell them on ebay for the $20 they're worth (as scrap metal), and get some real suspension components. And replace your struts while you're at it, because lowering your car on 18 year old stock struts is absolutely idiotic.

Yep I loved my Sprint's. 3" drop with a progressive spring rate felt NICE after riding on so many shitty sleeve-over type coilover suspensions.

Those Sprnts dont look too bad. $160 for springs only. Might pair up nice with some gr-2s.

Ive contemplated DZs. Not sure if i want springs or COs. And not sure what strut Id use either.

I know they've gotten better, and if you plan on moving up to something better, later, then these are just about the perfect thing. Just find a nice strut, maybe DZ or something else, like the gr-2s and you're set.

                        yep

i have pics of my car dropped with dz sus but can't upload, as for the dz with gr2 shocks; it will it will increase stiffness on the ride itself by a whole lot compared to stock. but should consider driving habits and rout normally traveled

had them on the accord, got rid of them quick. bouncy as fuck, the strut rod was like 5" higher than the spring. and when you put the mount on, it felt like it didnt even put pressure on the spring. had to switch to tokicos, because racing on hwy was getting deadly.

ive had dropzone for about 3 years now, i recently replaced them last year from an accident but they have always done well when slammed with coils to running standard or performance springs -- go git em!
