Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Tint or No Tint

    My tint is purple and i dont like it, should i remove it. Anyone with no tint can you post pics of your car.?

    Remove purple and put real tint, keeps cool, looks cool, no interior fade...

      i like tint lots, so i'd say peel it off and have it retinted. later.

        tints at least 70% and dont use windex with amonia thats what turns them purple.....don't even use windex, i use invisible glass.

          yeah tint is great..i personally love 15% and it looks good..dont use amonia cleaners..itll eat away at the film..but definetly remove the purple tint..makes it look horrible.

            Damn, a new one of these pops up everyday....with the same exact title.

            I say 5% all the way...that's what I have and I wouldn't have it any other way.

              Thats also illegal in most areas on the front windows.

                id like to tint my windows maybe some day i'll get it done!! good thing i read this thread i wouldnt have known about da windex!!

                  What's your point? I've never gotten pulled over for it. If you get pulled over, just roll down the windows. The reason they say shit about it is because they can't see you and they need to be able to see your hands at all times. Just roll the fuckin windows down and no problems.

                  Windex isn't really that big of a deal...they tell you not to use windex, but in all reality, you just don't want to use any type of cleaner with AMMONIA in it. It will destroy the tint.

                      Remove purple tint.
                      Replace it with 10%-15%.

                        limo tint is ok in my area as long as its not on the front windows and windshield

                          the new expensive profesional tint, doesn't turn purple even with windex... but the cheap stuff will within a year.

                          the new stuff has uv protection to protect the film,, look into that

                            Put some new tint, here in texas the legal percent of tint is 25% in front and 5% in rear.
