ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

I think it looks cool. I have a set and tried putting them on my old cb7 for shits and giggles. You will need to modify the hood and near the corner lamps, u need to widen the holes otherwise the pegs won't fit in. It makes the CB look like a DA 90-93 Integra.

No wait wait hold up. Which ones do you have? The ones at the top that are blackhoused look like custmized blackhoused Accord Inspire headlamps. The ones you pictured below with the chrome trimming below kinda appear to be Ascot headlamps.

One way to tell if they are jdm vigor headlamps are the internal yellow fog. The inspire headlamps look like the vigors somewhat, but they are missing the internal yellow fog and have a continuing chrome reflector instead. (The turn signal lamps have the fog on these cars instead)

The ascot however looks like a 1/2 accord half 1st gen legend headlamp.

I've never seen accord Inspire lamps with the chrome trim border.

Do you have better pictures of your headlamps? That's interesting to see.

They both look the same to me except that one is blackhoused and the other one isn't.

Maybe since the angles are different its throwing everyone off. But I guess better pictures will help figure this whole thing out.

Well all I'm saying is what I said before, they are not Vigor headlights because I OWN a Vigor, I have the JDM lights...they are different from the ones posted originally. Also, the Accord Inspire is the same as the Vigor, the Ascot is different.

Sorry about the pictures ill try to get new ones up, i didnt expect to get so many replies lol.
The ones that are black are mine that i blacked out and the missing brackets from the bottom are what i had to cut off to get them to clear when i was fitting them. The picture of the chrome housed lights is something i found while i was researching it and is exactly how mine looked when i got them.

They really look like vigor lights, but theyre not as long. Its about the length of the vigor light without the fog light towards the grill. When i set it up against my car, it would have to be cut only about 1 - 1.5 inches on each side to get it to fit, but i could be wrong as they were just tacked up to get a quick look.

The problem about returning the lights is that i cant, which is why i want to figure out what car theyre for so i can sell them back. I bought them from a guy i know before he moved to new york. He even gave me the real jdm accord grill, which is why i didnt stop to inspect the lights because i was stoked lol.

I really appreciate the help guys. I crashed my cb7 a couple months ago and its finally coming back together. The guy that i bought the lights from is actually the guy who did all the body work for me and is a cb7 enthusiast also. Hopefully i can get it back together and everything so i can get some pictures up. Just finished painting, and i was hoping to replace the ugly cracked headlights with some nice onepiecers but i guess thatll have to wait now.

                      Thanks again,
                      Kevin.

Yeah i think youre on the right track. Both sets of headlights pictured are the same, i just wanted to give a comparison to show what the likes are like. You said the inspire headlights look like vigors but instead of yellow fogs they have continuing chrome reflector, which is exactly how the lights i have are. And the chrome thrim around the light (which is painted black on my lights) is a separate piece from the lights and can be unscrewed.

Good way to tell if it is a Vigor light is hold that light and your stock light together and see if the JDM one is longer. The Vigor light is ridiculously longer than the Accord. I'm sure you know this already though.

Also, you said you painted them black yourself? That might have thrown a few people for a loop. The Vigor lights come blackhoused...no modification necessary.

As far as cutting the bracket off the bottom....did you not take your bumper off to fit the lights?

Yeah the jdm lights are longer, not sure by how much but i know theyre longer. And yes i did have my bumper and bumper support off while fitting them, but the problem with clearance came from the metal around the area where the stock headlight bracket would fit into, which is why i had to cut them of to fit. Not to mention that they were for the most part cut off when i got them, but i had to cut the rest off to clear that area.

As i was saying before tho, someone sent these same exact headlights in to be blacked out by the person offering the service here on the site but it wont let me into the classified section as of yet.

Could be the Ascot lights then. I will see if I have a picture of my headlights before I installed them...the way the headlight you posted looks, there is no foglight on the inner side. That right there throws me off. It should have a foglight with a yellow cover on the inside, and it should have a reflector in there and black around it.

Did whoever you bought the lights from ever have them installed or what?

Those are custom blackhoused JDM CB5 Accord Inspire headlights.

The Vigor headlights are different, being that they have integrated fogs, like what 92vig has.

The Ascot's headlights are of lens optic design, not reflector optics like our Accords or Inspire
