Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    cluster/speedometer in kph

    Does anyone know how I can get a cluster/speedometer in kph instead of mph? Like can I can just remove it and change where the speed thing is or do I have to buy the whole thing?

      Buy the whole cluster, and a suitable speed sensor will be required as well. What do you need it for?

        I'm assuming you want the Euro or JDM cluster. The Euro cluster will read right with just a face swap because it's just a reversed USDM gauge. Kilometers is just bigger vs mph. If you get a JDM gauge cluster 180 max, it will not read right with just a gauge face swap. In my opinion that is the easiest to swap.

              JDM.... EDM? Dude just get one from Canada, way less of a hassle and I highly doubt it requires any different speed sensor. Nothing changes between the clusters except for the writting. On your MPH you've also got KMH right? Well it would be the same with the Canadian one but instead you would have the KMH emphasized in bigger character than MPH. Very simple. No sensor or anything needed.

                Ok, cool. But I don't live in Canada. I live like 3000 miles away from there. I'm in Florida. I would get one from there if there was a website you could give me.

                          Start by telling me what type of car you need it for and I'll see what I can when I go to the yard. Is your car auto or manual? Does it have airbag or ABS? You can't just plug in a random cluster.

                              My car is auto., but I'm going to change it to manual when I do my swap. I have airbags. I have a 92, 4dr. I don't know about the ABS. So, I guess I'll say no about that.
