ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What color is it now? If you keep it the same color you wont have to worry about the door jams or engine bay. I say keep it the same my opinion.

Unless it's an ugly color which there isn't really to an unbearable level I would keep it the same color. It's way to much hassle changing color. I wanted to go black metallic first but then I thought well the color I currently have is pretty nice so I might as well just keep it. When you change color you pretty much need to take your car apart to paint all the fricking parts. You don't want your exterior to be black for instance when your door jams and everything else is burgundy. The engine bay is a problem too. If you want to do this properly you need to take the engine out and all the surroundings parts. Once again... It's way too much hassle but that's in my opinion. I'm a very fussy person and even with the same color I find little imperfections that are simply normal but make me go nuts sometimes anyway so I can't imagine what it would be if I would've changed the color.

It is the stock green right now and it is a nice color in all, but it scratches so bad and I'm sure a lot of you guys no what I mean. Also replying to a couple of you I was thinking about spraying the same color and now that a lot of you say its going to be a hassle I think I will keep it the same color, but I will still post pics as I go. If anyone has any other opinions feel free to tell.

Yeah, if you go with another color than what the car came with stock you are going to have to deal with the engine bay, door sills, and any other areas that aren't exposed to the exterior. That takes a lot of time and those areas usually are pretty good compared to the rest of the paint.

i think u should paint it watever color u want but make sure the door sills are painted too. and its not like ur going to show off ur engine. i dont think it will look that bad if u paint it a different color. u can always paint the engine bay down the road black or sumthin. theres too many green cbs anyways.

Even color to the car looks better unless you have a CF hood.

Dude whatever color it is, you will get scratches in no time. I try and live with the fact that scratches are parts of exterior features. They make your car unique. It's like scarfs. It's just fine as long as it's not a huge noticeable open wound

I just got my car painted and there's already a scratch on the hood. Just today it brought it to the body shop to get my rear bumper painted. I reversed in a low concrete pole support that wasn't showing in my mirror because of how low it was and I put a hole in my bumper. Something like that never happened before I got it painted and now once everything looks that it has to. The body guy being a very good friend of my dad, I keep messing around with him. I told him he mixed some bad luck in the paint before spraying it
