i think it depends on the inspection person. I know in jersey jakfrostwhite failed but i passed for the red clears

I would guess one of the keys is to make sure you have the correct color bulbs in them ...

I.E turn amber etc , etc

If they are stamped with DOT approval numbers you should be straight, i had a set of red/clears on my old bmw and i never had a problem with inspections go to like jiffylube or some place like that instead of the inspection stations they tend to be more cautious of what they pass especially here in NC

I know I got mine for around $80 or $100...something like that. The altezzas look ricey anyway IMO. Either smoke 'em or get the red/clear ones.
