ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Upholstery Kits (Leather/Vinyl)

I'm very interested in purchasing an upholstery kit or having everything professionally upholstered in leather. I know there are plenty of people on here who have done both, either leather/vinyl/suede.. could you please post pictures and prices and where you purchased them.. if you did it yourself with a kit or had it installed, difficulty level etc...

    Thanks

what im planning to do is to buy the seats and all the components used from either people on this site or junk yard, slowly, the reason is because if i get them upholstered it will cost me alot of money

the costs are on the websites. on some of them, you have to build the kit you want frst to get the price as differnet options and materials effect price.

              http://www.autoleathers.com/HTML2/AL.MAIN.FS.html
              www.leatherseats.com

              cloth
              www.tasauto.com

it's more cost effective to get stock leather from another accord also. xkjnboix got his 5th gen leather for $35 and it bolts right in:

your local auto upholstery can do it for you for a good price... if you don't let them rip you off, something like the cb7 would be like $400-$500 for leather and thats a full interior

At a family funeral a couple weeks ago, I ran into a second cousin I haven't seen in years. Turns out he owns his own upholstery shop. (Not a surprise, he owned another one when I last saw him) I'm planning on hitting him up for a family discount if he'll go for it and I plan on talking to him about making replacement skins. If he's interested, it could work out beneficially for us and him.
