ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I made a 97-01 Prelude intake fit in my car, just barely. Its not getting squashed either. Its an iceman intake so its slightly larger at the mouth and then tapers down to the diameter of the throttle body.

                $50 for cold air http://www.k2motor.com/afcacd90.html
$27for a Short Ram. http://www.k2motor.com/afacd90300.htmlI have the Short Ram. The only problem is the ABS acuator is in the way so it scrapes the tube a little. The site is good... free shipping and it was fast.

One (the more expensive one) is a cold air intake and it goes into the fender well (i know the picture is wrong) the short ram sucks up air from the engine bay. Im kinda missing a splash guard, so no CAI for me.

yeah def dont do that, i dont reccomend cai's to anyone, thats just my opinion. it almost killed my engine once... and i had all the splash guards and everything, just turned into a parking lot and car went about a foot deep in a puddle.

@Michael: Yeah, that's what I thought, but the picture threw me off. I flipped the CAI pic in GIMP and it looked the same as the Ram.

@xproject: You can get a valve or something for CAI so water can't get in the system. Texas isn't a particularly wet state, but I'm still planning to get a CAI + valve.

I also need to find a new splash shield... Maybe I'll find one when I go to the junkyard with my brother in law this weekend

Like most things, you'd be surprised what works on our cars. Given the engine space in the 'teggy, I'd say something's bound to get in the way, but then again I don't know what I'm talking about.
