ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Gotta get it from a arts and craft store like Michael's. Yellow isn't a hard color to find, try look'n for the Orange (amber)

I'm most likely gonna take my headlights and stuff out tomorrow and blackhouse them, but I wanna yellow out the high beams too, but just wonderin' if the yellow on the headlight lens would be strong enough to throw a yellow shade, or would I have to get yellow HID's for it?

if you paint the lens with stain glass yellow paint then it makes the lights yellow... and it dosent dim the lights at all... still just as bright but yellow instead... i use white bulbs in mine and there yellow as Fuck

Sweet man. That's all I needed to know! Cause I plan on going all out and makin' all the interior lens' blue. But I just want that yellow high beam effect on the front end. Sets it off.

i would not use BLUE at all in the headlights... they will dim your lightting and it is also illegal as fuck.... not saying mine isnt being all yellow but your more than likley going to get hassled more by the police if you paint them blue for your dims.... ethier paint them yellow like i did mine... do away with them all together and put a hid projector in for the dim or just black house around it and leave it clear.... blue dims with yellow brights look tacky IMO

now if your talking about blackhousing your headlights and using a blue instead of black then i would go for that if it matches your car. but dont put the blue on the reflective part of the headlights

check out this post before you go paintting blue inside your headlights....

He's talking about his interior lenses. Like the dome light and courtesy lights.

DIY lens painting is definitely a cheap way to add some style to your ride, good luck with it. Be sure to post up pics when you're done.

Oh, I will. And yea, I wanna make all the door lens' and all blue. There is a DIY on this blackhousing, and paintin' the headlight covers and all yellow, but the pictures don't show anymore. So I'm still tryna figure out what exactly I should paint black. Don't wanna paint anything that's gonna screw up the reflection of the headlights.
