Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Need Help With H3 Bulbs!!!

    Need Help With H3 Bulbs!!!

    So I just put in my JDM CC2 one piece headlights today...they use an H3 foglight. Same thing my USDM headlights used. Only thing is, the wire coming off of the JDM bulb is different than the USDM bulb!! All I can find at the store are the H3 bulbs with a SPADE connector on the end. These have a ROUND POINTY connector on the end...I don't know what you'd call it! Spades will NOT fit in the JDM wiring harness. Ebay doesn't have anything except the spades.

    The bulbs look to be original...they are Stanley bulbs. 35watt...USDM H3 is 55watt...that's all I can find.

    Here's a picture of the bulb and the plug on the end....never seen this kind before. Like I said, it's a 35watt Stanley bulb, and I'm pretty sure every JDM CC2 headlight has this type of bulb........I cannot, for the life of me, find that type of bulb anywhere (store or online)





    The bulb is in a metal holder...that's why it looks a bit weird. It's an H3, I'm pretty sure....looks just like my USDM H3 bulb but the glass part is just a little bit smaller. Maybe because it's 35w compared to 55w

      Nevermind...I rewired the fog lights. I cut off half of the wire to the bulb above and put a female spade connector on the end of it. Plugged in that pointed pin connected into the headlight harness, then plugged a normal H3 bulb with spade connector into the pigtail I made...

      Put the light in, turned it on and BINGO, worked....
