Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    carbon fiber trunk

    does anyone other then me remember a guy that was MAKING carbon fiber trunks for 90-91's?what happen to that dude?i'm trying to get one..and nowhere else has them.so does anyone know who that was and if he's still on the board?

    he is selling them still i think and he is also selling a flushmount replica and in the makings of a coupe rear spoiler. his name is like f22accordturbo or something like that

      Amm at one point a gourp of us was trying to get it made but ehhh..check around for anyone whose selling theirs.

        i wish i could get my hands on one of those cf1 trunks for the 92-93 too bad there was only 13 made and no one wants to ship them

            f20aaccordturbo pretty close though. I've seen one of his CF trunks in person, and I've had one of his flushy replicas. Both are quality products, but I think production was put on hold.

                  You know there is a universal carbon fiber trunk made to fit 90-93s by JSP right? It's just the license plate area can be swapped out. Personally I like it better than the VIS or having a carbon trunk thats ALL carbon IMPO. The license plate filler that is still body colored adds a little contrast to the car which I think is great.

                  I rate it a 8.5/10. The qualitly is great and fitment however since it's Universal, mods need to be done to get the trunk filler to set in place. Also the keyhole, and latch areas don't have designated holes for you to set it at.
                  The trunk will not sit flush unless you play with it. I had to realign it 7x before perfecting it and had to rid the tension bar. The tension bar will cause rain to get in on the drivers side even tho it "looks flush" it will leave a bigger gap on the side unless u take it out.

                  I got mine on sale awhile back online but now look to spend about 680-700ish for one shipped.
