ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

trust me, get someone else to do it professionally. im sure that stuff is made cheaply, will turn purple and bubble up. I promise unless you tint cars for a living, you will more than likely not have satisfactory results from tinting your car yourself.
My thought: pay more, get it done right.

well its not me doing it that im afraid of, i tinted my 99 f150 with tint from pepboys and i did a really good job on it i think. people were asking me where i got it tinted and all so it deff was decent job. it was the cutting out for the window shape and all that got me frustrated and it was just annoying. the thing im worried about with this tint is how it will look and how the quality is.

I don't see why it would be a bad idea. It is a lot cheaper to do it yourself.

I'm a tinter at a custom shop and ebay tint is cheap, it's thin and is harder to use than the good stuff. Doing tint yourself is fine but you'll be better off getting the tint from a shop, most sell it by the foot for a few dollars per foot.

oh, our back windows suck to shrink!

yeaaaah, on my truck which i did its just a fkat back window. it was easy. im kinda worried bout our back window haha. but my hardest thing was cutting it out to the perfect shape. specially cause i have a coupe and with those 2 windows that push out and open that whole thing is a object in its own to avoid.

I would take it too a shop but I am a lazy fat man. I would rather pay some one else to have the headache with window tint. most other things I would be all for a D.I.Y but the back window is a real pain in the a**. just my .02 though
