ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

mine turned out pretty good, i mean yeah its not the best for long term rust repair but it gets the job done to get it looking good and pass inspection. i put so many layers and shaved it off to smooth it out so it took me some time, its real strong tho.

thats exactly why i did this,
              http://www.whitecapdirect.com/products/279262
thats the bondo i used, relativly cheap. also have some sandpaper and sand it down first and i used a electic sander after i bondoed the hole, then bondo then electic sander and so on till i was happy with it. then i just used 10 dollar spray paint for cars the depot stuff from pepboys to match the color as closley as i could to my car. cheapest way out and not bad. its nothing professional tho

remember that bondo absorbs water. if this is on there very long, it will be much worse than if you had just left the rust exposed.

as long as you're just doing this to pass inspection, it'll be fine for a bit. but i suggest you save up and get that rust delt with before it gets worse. like someone already said, bondo absorbs water. so just save up to have some new metal welded in and you'll be good.

yea i understand i just did it to pass inspection and to make it look better for now, but bodywork is mad inspected so what i will do is prob cut out a peice from anouther cb7 and weld it in myself. like what you said 2000 for bodywork and no paint hahah not worth it to me. rather be fast and look bad.
