ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I think he got what he paid for.
It doesn't sound like the bodyguy had any clear direction other that "different and unique".

My question is. What the fuck is that? It doesn't suit the car atall. The Cbalways looked good the way it was made. Now you added curves to a part of it while the rest of the car clearly tells us "car form the 90s". I personally don't like it.

Looks good.....BUT you need an LS1 swap and Corvette wheels in the rear to pull this off

                  Quarters are a no go
Roof looks like it was a quick bondo job, not a weld and re-surface
                  Mouldings look pretty good
Driver side moulding near front of door has an indent in it... what the?

looks almost like a skyline rear end ... looks like a widebody attempt without the rest of the kit if you got the front and sides widened it might look interesting but as it sits right now it looks bad IMO

EDIT* oh and the rear needs to go all the way back to the lights and use custom lights ... did you tell him you want to be able to stuff 24" wheels in there?

i like the shaved mouldings and rain gutters, i'm actually planning both of those myself along with a bunch more. i'm not a fan of the shape of the quarters, but i'd like them better if they were longer, not as wide, and werent warped to shit. like maybe stretch them all the way to the door and almost to the taillight, then make them so that they are only an inch or an inch and a half wider.

also, if that is the final product after paint, you need to take it back to him and have him re-do or fix the gutters.

Not sure if anyone asked, but how come the roof doesn't look like it was done properly?

Not a fan of the rear moldings either, honestly, looks like a DIY job that didn't quite go right. Perhaps once you have your rims on and it's lowered it will look better, but right now......

Yeah guys thanks alot for the input its appreciated, but after a few days of seeing what this guy had done i've come to the realization that his work fuckin sucks but i guess thats what you get when you go to a backyard mechanic. So i think im going to get the stock quarters welded in, i think that a shaved sleek look and 17's will be what im going for i also have a brembro full brake setup coming for it which will make her stop on a dime, cant wait.

sounds good man. if you can go with stock rear quarters and fix the roof, you'd have a really good looking car (might want to wash the dust off of it, though )
