    Lost another dog :(

Yep, unfortunately it's true. We had to put down our German Shepherd this morning. It was really tough watching her (Brook) be put down. We had to put her down because her stomach flipped. The vet said she was suffering and it would only get worse. They also said that she didn't have too much time left.
The surgery was around $4,000 and there are no guarantees.

It's really tough losing 2 dogs in just a little over a month.

She was only 7 1/2. I'll post a pic later after I find them.

          German shepards are GREAT DOGS.

I have a feeling we'll be getting another german shepard sometime soon. Both my dad and I agree we need a big dog around. I'm thinking about getting him a puppy for christmas. I know it's kind of messed up thinking about getting another dog already, but we just need a big dog around. It's just not the same without one.

I really can't answer that. They may have told my dad.

Sorry to hear that man. Pets are like family you know, you just feel bad for them when they're sick but you did what you had to do and thats a good thing. Suffering is never good.

someone once told me...but thats horrible.

I hated puting my dog down. It was a yorkie and a really good dog.

I can feel ya on not being the same without the dog around, getting another one for xmas might be good. its not like its replacing Brook its just like a new friend that would come along you know?

Whatever you do keep your head up man cuz nothing can take the memories of you and ur dog away from ya!
